Pastor Troy is a second-career pastor, having worked in the secular workforce for a number of years before entering the ministry. He graduated with honors from Grace University in Omaha, NE, with a dual major in Management/Organizational Leadership and Biblical Studies, and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, where his focus was Missiology.
His chief desire in ministry is expressed in a verse spoken over him at his ordination: Ephesians 3:8-10 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in1 God who created all things, 10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
Pastor Troy has been married to Stephanie, the “wife of his youth,” for nearly 30 years. Together they have eleven children that bring them no end of joy.
