The music ministry at St. Peter’s is led by our dedicated parish choir that ranges in age from teenagers to retirees and everywhere in between!
At St. Peter’s, we strive to foster a warm and nurturing environment for those of all ages to glorify God through song. The choir currently sings all but the fourth Sunday of the month and specializes in music of the western classical sacred music canon in the Protestant tradition from the 16th century to the present day. Besides Sunday morning services, the choir participates in the church’s weekly Wednesday evening Vespers during the seasons of Advent and Lent, as well as an annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve.
Currently, the choir rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM and Sunday morning at 8:45 AM from the Sunday after Labor Day until Trinity Sunday.
New singers are always welcome and are encouraged to join this active ensemble!
